TikTok Creators Show Us What A Wes Anderson-Created Guide To Surviving A Global Pandemic Would Look Like
TikTok is taking over social media and we all know it. But what you probably remember as instagram’s younger sibling filled with dances and lip-synching is becoming a serious hub for high(er)-production level content, just take a look at this.
If you’re still not bough-on to the TikTok takeover let me remind you of two things: 1. Kevin Mayer, former head of streaming at Disney is now CEO of TikTok (Bloomberg) and 2: TikTok is currently worth ~$200 billion. This would make it not only the world’s most valuable "startup” but one of the world’s most valuable companies, period. (Turner’s Blog)
[*trigger warning*] Oh and if you think GenZ is just living in a millennial world or that sharing your Harry Potter house while saying #adulting is still in, I’m sorry to burst your bubble. Since the quarantine started, I would bet that you’ve heard of Animal Crossing. But why has a simple Nintendo Switch game become so popular?
